Company

Mulder Environmental Finance BV was founded by Gerhard Mulder. Mr. Mulder has more than 15 years of experience in emissions markets in both in Europe and the United States. Prior to starting his own company, Mr. Mulder was Vice President Eco-Markets at ABN AMRO Bank in the Netherlands where he initiated the banks activities in climate change markets. From 2002 until 2005 he worked at the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs on the Kyoto Protocol’s flexible mechanisms, Joint Implementation and the Clean Development Mechanism.

Prior to returning to the Netherlands, Mr. Mulder worked as an emissions broker on Wall Street and as a consultant on energy and emissions markets in Washington, D.C. He studied Environmental Economics and Finance at Columbia University in New York, and holds a Master of Science in Public Administration from the University of Amsterdam.
